the setup: what i have now
700 sps tactical .223
trijicon 1 piece steel 1913 base
trijicon 2.5-10x56 30mm tube scope

i want trijicons steel rings, the question, do i need
.389, .460 or .750.

to compare, i have another sps tactical in .308 with
EGW alu 1 piece base
wotac 4-14x50 30mm tube scope
burris extreme tatical low 1/4" (.250) mounts

and that setup fits with at least 5mm of clearance even with the BC flip cap on.

so my guess is even with that huge objective i could get away with triji's standard height (.389) ring
since its sitting on a tactical rail raising the whole thing up.
thanks for the help. I did review the sticky but am just looking for someone to back me up since you cannot buy these in any store close by, i would have to order online.

ok so I ordered the standard triji .389 rings. Using a piece of 3/8" / .375 steel stock as a mock spacer for the scope laying it on that steel between the bottom of the tube and top of the 1913 rail, the scope clears the barrel with plenty of room to spare (about 6mm).
if that sounds wrong let me know.
