Just purchased tikka t3 light in 7mm rem mag. I am looking for a scope to hunt big game from 100 yards to 500 yards. Looking at Burris Six X, or signature select. And zeiss conquest. Id like any recomendations on these or other scopes.

500 yards is a pretty long way...hopefully you'll get lots-o-practice before attempting such. Regarding your question, the Burris scopes you mentioned will certainly get the job done. Additionally, Zeiss Conquest, Sightron Big Sky and, of course, Leupold will all be dandy. Check the Sample List here for great deals. BTW, welcome to the OT Forums.

I have that exact rifle, and it wears a Zeiss Conquest 3-10x44.  Great scope and I love the reticle.  I sight it in for 3" high at 100 yards, shooting Hornady 139 gr IB Heavy mag factory ammo @ 3200fps.  That put me almost dead on at 260, and only 4" low at 330 yds.  This is MPBR (max point blank range) that I've been using for years and it works.  No need for fancy reticles, twisting turrets, etc.  The 3 Tikkas I have are boringly accurate, sub MOA shooters.

I've got a Conquest 3-9X on a 700 7mm Mag and I think it's a perfect combo. Unless the 500 yards is paper, I would just move closer.

Ya, I'm a long time Zeiss Conquest/Z Plex leg humper.

I think it's the best scope your considering for your goals.

Good post, Raider.
