what is the best scope for hunting whitetail deer has the best optics for 30 min before sunrise and 30 min after sunset in the 200 hundred dollar price range for use on a 444 single shot rifle??????????????????

I'd think you'd what something with a heavy duplex, #4 or some type of illuminated plex.  The nikon primos is probably the nicest scope under $200.00, but I'm not sure it would fit your needs and it most likely over kill on the 444.  It will be interesting to see how others perceive this question.

Might try a Pentax 3x9x50. Very good light transmission.

Look at the Vortex Diamondback 2x7x35 or Weaver Classic 2.5x7x32.  Bot should fit your needs well.

i appreciate all the sugestion i have decided to go with a 4 or 6 power scope just cant make up my mind which is the best

Hello my Mississppi brother.  I have the 444 handi rifle and have a bushnell 4200 3x9x40 on it. This scope is hard to beat for our hunting in Mississippi.  I dont know if you already have scope mounts, but if you dont take a look at talley light-weight for the handi rifle.
