"Who needs tv when you can have T-Rex..."  Mot the Hoopel, written by David Bowie

There is a lot of stuff flooding the market right now, from china.  Some of it is pretty good and designed by people from various major optics who have split.  I have never heard of the company.  I hate being on the leading edge.  Once in a while you get cut.  I'd give them a couple of years of operations before I gave them my money.  Let somebody else pay for the shake down cruise.

Like I said before, my brother has one it is 6-24x50 with 30mm tube illuminated mil dot reticle. He likes it and it seems to hold its own with  everything else we use Leupold, Burris, Zeiss, Swift etc.  I really would like to hear from someone with firsthand knowledge about their performance and reliability. I was skeptical at first a year ago,  now I believe he got a better bargain than I have ever been able to.

Pull up there site. They must have some ground breaking technology. To be able to make a 10-40X50 that has enough light to make it back to the eyepiece and still have a field of view where you could ever be able to discern what you were looking at. They are going where none have gone before.  Get%20Your%20Popcorn%20Ready

Rex Optics, las time I looked, was chicom crap.  If you found a good one, you got lucky.  I would put it somewhere along the same lines as NCStar.

BS%20Flag  then why y'all askin' us about them?  The statements you just made contradict themselves by a wide margin.  Sounds like an importer tryin' to creat buzz about thier product at the hard earned reputation of this website.Whats%20Up

If you got asked the same question about every fly by night scope maker.... This same question pops up every month or so, just change the name of the company.  If they were half as good as your second post suggested we would have heard of them.  The Nikko wanta be wheel on one of the scopes is a big hint... The higher than normal magnifications are a big hint.  The ninja wanta be reticles and the battery reticle are also big hints.  The price is a bigger hint, because good glass costs money.

I've seen the scopes doctor duck is talking about. An older married couple from Pell City Al. has been peddling them along with NcStar and a handful of older Millets at a lot of the Ms., and Al. gun shows. Prices seem to range from $230 - 350 . While they LOOK quite tacticool, I was not impressed with optics clarity. And considering the bulk of their products, I would say they must have a nice profit margine to be made off the unknowing.
If doctor duck's brother got a good one, consider him lucky.

Rex scopes are the same as Barska. The Rex10-40x50 is a Barska 10-40x50

I would contact Mike sexton at iron sights inc.. May have some hands on with these.  If he does he can tell you if the Chinese produced Houston based REX has good quality control or not.  The quality control seems to be the biggest issue with some of these newer Chinese build brands.  So I like to stick with guys like Mike who inspect, align and repair these tubes.

Have you had Mike work on any Chinese scopes?  He did only work on Weaver and Redfields. He acquired the existing inventories of the old repair centers. He also repairs Leatherwood scopes. After the price of shipping and $80 minimum for the inspection or repair, it may be money better spent on a new scope. Mike Sexton is an OHP Trooper. He also teaches C.C. classes here in the Tulsa area. That is another story that was told long ago. Whistling
