Fellas I purchased a gunwerks  g7 about 8 months ago, It performed perfectly at the range and in my field test on targets out to 1173yds and every thing under. I mean the thing is amazing ! I slam steel out to 1k plus yards cold bore with out crunching numbers , it works as advertised. Here is why I turned it out!  I t is the size of a pair of 8x42 binoc's  , as long as I am traveling in a vehicle and shooting at opportunity targets it is great. Every year about this time I load my daypack as if I was walking out of camp to hunt for the day to see how gear changes from the previous year affect weight and organization. This year all was well starting out until I started trying to figure out where the rangefinder needs to ride.  Well it want fit in my jacket pocket, hmm it want fit in a pack hip pocket hmm it must be in a case to be worn on a girt belt. hmm this want work as I want it to. I want a compact rf with 1k plus capability as well ability to give moa and angle adjusted calculations  that can be carried in shirt or jacket pocket.
I researched this a little and it seems that a Leica  1600b may be my only option.
If I want to use it in the field I have tout it and it isn't much if I must dig it out of my pack every time I want to range something .  Are there any other options?

I had a 1600, sold it and bought the G7.
For me, I will put up with more size for it gives me.
If I am doing something that is beyond the G7, I pull out the Terrapin
