Hi everybody i finally registered to this sight after looking at the forums all the time, but anyway i got a model seven 223 and i want to use it for everything such as deer, groundhog, crow, whatever i feel like using it for pretty much.
I live on our family dairy farm so with having hayfields 6-700 yrds long i can shoot whatever distance i want but i usually only shoot at ground hogs at longer distances and wait till deer are within 400 yrds so i dont wound one, but what i was wondering is what would be a good 3-10x or 4-12x scope without the AO because i hunt in the woods just as much as i hunt in the fields so i  dont want to be adjusting the parallax all the time.
I have a burris FFII 4.5-14 on it right now and it feels to bulky and i hate adjusting the parallax all the time. I was looking at a bushnell elite 3200 3-10x short action scope but not sure so i'm asking you guys for your suggestions. Thanks

I was trying to stay under $400.
Was looking at the monarch 3-10 and SII 3-10 but not sure yet

The little brother of your current scope would be a good option, burris FFII 3-9x40.  The other two you mentioned are also nice scopes, the nikon 2.5x10 has nice optics, but the eye box can be combersome.
