Am looking for a late 60's Remington M40 model rifle, with wood stock. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a search? Would like to purchase one again. The best sniper rifle I had ever used.

Alan will do a better job than the factory. He can do old style or the current production clones.   He has a run of six old style coming up.  He has the stocks, mounts, stamps ect.  If you want the serial number in the right range then, you may have to supply an action.  You won't be able to able to tell his part from one in a musem.

Sorry for the delay, It took me a while to find where I had placed his card.  Alan has a government day job, and is very qualified  in this area.
