So, had some extra cash and picked up a Sendero in 25-06, never had this caliber before, not sure what im really gonna do with it yet, but looked fun and like a nice mid weight round to bridge my gap from .223 to .308.

I plan on putting a Monarch 4-16x42 on it, any suggestions for base and ring set ups?  Im most comfortable with pic rails, but not sure if appropriate here.  I figured I would ask so my venture doesnt turn out like my LRPV attempt.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks much, looks very solid.  Im trying to branch out from going my usual way of "cost effective" into what will really work well.

Do I need the extended base, or will the regular one work?  There is a 30 dollar difference, thought it would be worth asking, but maybe im just cheap...

Thanks again.

Actually, changed my plan and went with DNZ Gamereaper 1 piece.....

From what I saw reviews looked good, hopefully no one thinks that was a bad bad plan....
