I have a weatherby 257 mag and was told there are people out there that will send you 5 different load for you to see what groups are best and then reload several boxes of that combination based on the grouping you got. Does anybody on here know who might do that. Im not interested in reloading just killing deer. lol

My first rule for reloading for someone else was "not without having your rifle".

Yep, there are people out there that are that stupid. Some will send along free beer to drink while trying out the loads.

Then just buy the loaded ammo and don't worry with reloading.

I'll second that!
To set yourself up with good reloading equipment to load rifle cartridges you are looking at an expense of $800 to $1000 probably so if you are a hunter and not a target shooter just buy several boxes of the ammo that shoots best in your rifle and be done with it.

How about you just see what weatherby loadings work best for you and use those.

There is a lot of premium factory ammo out there these days that offer exceptional accuracy.

For hunting purposes you just do not need the most perfect available ammo.  Realistically if you had a gun that shot 3 or 4 moa it would be good enough for most big game hunting situations.

A lot of the good factory ammo in a good rifle will shoot around 1 moa sometimes better.  So there is just no need to do what you are wanting to do.

Nolser, Weatherby, HSM, and Corbon all make ammo for your rifle.  I am sure you could find a load that works great within those.

I would give Black Hills ammo a call for loads tailored just for you.
