What kind of results have you seen with the refurbished scopes?

I've got a 6.5X20X44 Nikon Monarch coming to me from SWFA (The Sample List). $300 plus shipping.
It seems like a good deal other than used, sight unseen is a little scary. And it's my first Nikon.
Any thoughts?

 HAHAHAAAHAHHAAAA ....  Shocker huh ... Trick !

DLS56  .... I also have the 6-20 Nikon Monarch .... with dual IR and believe me I never leave home without it on my Kaw 650 ATV . I fell in love with the Nikons .... man they're better than most of the over bragged models you hear alot about . Has every bell and whistle component and they function superbly .... dead on everytime ... super clear .... fabulous scopes ... you're gonna love it Bro !

The scope arrived yesterday. There is no way you could convince me it was used if I hadn't bought it reconditioned.

The rifle that it's going on should be in next week; a Cooper in .17hmr. It doesn't look good for those pesky ground hogs.

Five star recommendation for the Sample List. I do reserve commentary privileges until I see how it works on the rifle but so far very impressive. Big time bang for your buck! Excellent
