Other than masking off the glass, is there anything I need to do before I spray my scope?  I got a great deal on the Nikon 6.5-20x44 but it's gloss and I want a matte finish.

Thanks,

Bryan

Welcome to The OT!!

Will your AO still turn after you spray it? I'd be careful of that.

Nice scope BTW! I have one myself........

Thanks, glad to be here.

I'm not 100% sure, I may be able to mask the scope so that no paint gets into the void/threads.  I haven't mounted it yet, I guess I could send it back and get the illuminated mil-dot scope for $150 more??  Is it worth it?

I have the lit Mil Dot in matte. It's a pretty nice scope.
