Are you referring to the Redfield Wide Angle Accu-range & Accu-Track.

It has a dial that you use for Ballistic compensation.
Dial B is adjusted to match the following chart for the ammunition being used. Then you dial the other dial for the range found by the rangefinder.
I am not sure as to the measurements used between the stadias for range finding .
Maybe this can help or can help another help you.

Thank you.  I believe my scope is called "widefield".  Both end lens are oval shaped - not round.  The reticle is a duplex and there are two narrow horizontal reticles close together near the top of the field of view.  Also, as the power is decreased from 9 to 3, a scale ranging  from 600 to 200, appears at the bottom of the field of view.  The view you show of the verticle adjustment knob looks like my would if it were assembled but I can't figure out how to assemble it.  I have three different scaled knobs, marked A, B6 and C6, which, based on your information, must be for different calibers, a plastic top piece indicating counterclockwise as "up" that fits each of the scaled knobs, plus a screw to assemble them to the interior knob.  However, if I assemble a set in what appears to be the proper sequence it seems like something is missing.

YES, as to the range finding portion and that is the important part. My end bells are both oval which I'm sure has no bearing on my problem.
