Two days ago I purchased a brand new Redfield Revolution 3-9x40 w/ Accu-Range reticle. I have always used Tasco and never had a problem, but this year I decided to buy a nicer scope because I read too much to be honest. Truth be told, I can't see a difference between the Redfield and Tascos other than the Redfield has tons of eye relief, a little too much for my liking to be honest.

I got outside today to put bullet on paper and the first shot was super high...about 7-8 inches up the paper. So then I adjusted my turret down (opposite to the up arrow) and my reticle actually went up. Same with right and left, left went right and right went left. I never had this problem with the old Tascos (laugh all you want). For instance if I shot high to the right, I clicked down and to the left and within 2 more shots I would be dead on. Are my turrets backward or what?? I finally got tired of fooling with it and left.

Some of the turrets are marked for moving the reticle and some are marked for moving the point of impact. If you shoot high you want to adjust your reticle up as it will bring your point of impact down, so not sure if that was an error in your explaining or you just misunderstood.
