Anyone have this press?  I'm looking at it for my first press, but I'll be reloading .300 Weatherby eventually, and I wonder if it's stout enough to FL form this case.

Absolutely it's stout enough!  Any decent quality iron framed press is more than adequate for FL sizing any standard factory case.

The Redding Boss is a fantastic press, but if it were me, I'd spend $25 extra and get the "Big Boss," as it's just a little beefier than the Boss, has a more comfortable handle, and it is one of the finest single stage, medium duty presses you can buy, period.  I have the Redding UltraMag press, which is a heavier press than both of those.  It is overkill for all but the largest cases, but it is very smooth, very solid, and has tremendous leverage.  Redding is just like RCBS in that they really stand behind their products.

I actually am leaning toward the Big Boss II now.  It seems like it's got a little more mechanical advantage than the Boss.  Thanks for the info!

No problem.  You won't be disappointed in the BB-II, or for that matter, most any Redding product.  They make primo reloading equipment!

You will have no problems loading the 300 weatherby on that press. I loaded 20 of the same cartridge back in december.
