I am planning a trip for my sons highschool graduation for next year.  I'm considering Montana, Wyoming possibly Texas.  Deer, birds and PD's for about a week trip or so.... Recommendations on where and with whom would be greatly appreciated.

These people are some of the best in the industry. They cover all the bases and even have a discount club for picking up cancelled hunts.

In Wyoming, you can't beat http://www.wyoming-elk-hunting.net/
I have hunted with Gary & Jenny three times and am proud to call them friends & neighbors. Close to Jackson airport (40 miles) but in "the back of beyond". Elk, moose, Mule deer, Antelope, Puma and Black Bear (Griz and Wolf live there but are protected).
Horseback hunts, excellent food and VERY experienced guides.
Members RMEF too.

That guy sounds familiar.

Does he, or did he hang out on Accurate Reloading, do you know??

I don't know the answer to that one. I will have to dig for that, maybe just email them. I think they used to have Nosler ads in their catalog, not sure. I would bet they are serious reloaders for hunting, though.
Jack Atcheson has always been a big supporter of SCI, RMEF, NRA and other numerous pro hunting organizations. Every issue of SCI has a members report on hunts they have been on including their booking agents and outfitter. Jack and his sons are respected and you won't find a bad reference on them because they make good on their promise. They tell you up front what to expect, some hunts are rugged and game is hard to find, but they assure you fair chase and a good hunting experience. If you are looking for deer out west I would book through them in a second.
