I mounted a brand new Burris Signature Select 3-10 x 44 today.  I noticed a rattling from the front half of the scope while handling my gun.  As the gun is tilted from left to right along its lengthwise axis, it sounds as though something within is moving.  I won't be able to shoot until this weekend at the earliest, and there's nothing obviously wrong with the scope.  Any thoughts?

You weren't supposed to say that.

I just emailed their customer service and anxiously await their reply.  We'll see soon enough, but I'm afraid that you are right.

Thanks.

Unless Burris is coming with a new rattle snake impersonating scope, send it back.  Every company has a lemon here and there.

Contact the people you bought it from without delay and tell them about the problem. A lot of dealers will exchange for one in correct condition then deal with sending it back to the manufacturer  themself which doesn't inconvenience you as much.
