Last night a small but intence storm focused over my place dumping lots of rain and hail. 8 months fo waiting came to and end with 7' rise in the level.

Tuesday level

Last night just after midnight.

It was nice to see the midnight lights reflecting off the ponds surface.

Mornings light reveled a transformation

First water in July

Now it is time to move into the stocking phase.

The amazing part is the water came from the level in the first pic then rose 7 feet' to full in 2 hours time. Total 14 feet deep in the middle.

That's great, Lile! Looking good! You have a beautiful place, my friend!

What mix of fish are you planning to stock it with?

It is about time to stock about 10 lb of minnows. Then ad a perch variety. Followed up later with  channel cat and a few LM bass. Stocking will take over a year then another till catch able fish.
