I have a silver 3-9x40 VX-II that I am selling.  I notice the duplex reticle is actually reflective and highly visible in low light, not a typical reticle.  There is no model number on the scope so I am trying to determine what reticle this is and if it is anything special?

Not etched. Wire reticle?
If at first you don't secede...try..try again.

I have seen many Leupold reticles look  shiny bronze or brass colored when light is low and entering the back of the scope (at the ocular end that is). If that's what you are seeing it's because Leupold doesn't blacken their reticles enough and it simply light reflection off the reticle. I've never seen this with etched designs, only wire.
