Hello all.  I am looking at a Nikon Monarch 2.5-10x42 (8408) and noticed that it has no parallax adjustment.  Is this going to be a problem?  Will I despise this scope because of it?  It simply doesn't make sense to me to sell a good scope without this adjustment.  Having never used a good adjustable power scope without it, I am, naturally, a bit concerned.  Otherwise, this scope fits the bill exactly...  Thanks for your input.

Drew

Parallax adjustment is not found on many (there are some) scopes with 10x or lower as their high end power.  But it is found on most scopes with 12x or higher as their top end magnification.  Why not move up to the Nikon Monarch 3x12x42 with side focus parallax adjustment.  Same glass just different magnification range.

It doesn't seem that the 3-12x42 is available w/ mildot...

If you plan to do some long range target shooting be aware that it has a very limited range of adjustment.  I thought it was a great idea until I saw that bump in the road.

edit to add - this is talking about the 4-16 Monarch.
