Does anyone know if the tactical turret sets inside the cavity instead of over it like most other scopes. This looks like it would be a pain to keep clean, it seems like grit and grime could get in easier. Am I wrong or wouldnt it be better protected if the turret set over like most others.  It also doesnt look like it has enough clearance to allowing a lable to be affixed to the outside of the turret adjustment. With others that set over like nikon, it makes it easy to make your own label and affix to the turret for what ever you are shooting at the time.  Man I need to see one of these up close. Does anyone have any opinion on these?

That style turret has been working fine for years on Leupold Mark 4 scopes.

I never had any trouble with mine, and it got quite a bit of hard use.
