Hi all. New member here. I see that on most of the SS Classic windage turrets, the increments count up from zero in both directions. Seems to be the case with the M-rad versions anyway. (I assume both scales meet at the opposite side, at 2.5 Rads.)
I was wondering if anyone knows why the 10x MOA-Quad windage turret just increases all the way around in the clockwise direction, basically going from 0 to 15 MOA for a full rotation. I know it really shouldn't matter; just seems odd that they aren't consistent. Thanks! |

Hmm. No one knows the answer it seems. But I think I found it on my own after some additional digging.
In reading this blog, the author seems to imply that the MOA turrets are not new at all; they might have been what was used originally on the M-rad scopes up to some point in time. (Which would be before my time, as far as knowing of these scopes.) So I'm guessing that the new MOA-Quad scope is simply resurrecting the use of the old MOA turrets, and so the this new model doesn't benefit from the convenient "right" and "left" directional indication now being used with the all the M-rad turrets.
