Are 20 moa one piece bases raised in the back, lowered in the front, both or does it vary between manufacturers? My scope only has about 3/8" clearance between the objective and the barrel and I don't want to use higher rings.

I take it that you have a 0 MOA base on there right now. I don't think you will need to use higher rings, but don't know for sure. I'm sure someone with more knowledge will chime in soon. Oh and usually they are just higher in the back, or at least that is my understanding.
You might post the make of base you are using now, and the base you are looking to get and that will further help people to come to a conclusion on how best to help you out. Good Luck. |

What base and rings are you using/thinking and what scope are you mounting? |
