Does anyone know what kind of features the Weaver V Series 6X24 Mil-Dot has in it?  Does it have good glass and coatings for maximum clarity?  Micro-Trac adjustments?  And if not is that a huge liability?  What about the mil-dot?  Is it the 1st plane type that allows you to range on any power?  Not just the highest power?  If I'm going to be shooting mostly targets or the occasional coyote or varmint, would I be better off with a varmint plex with a dot - or mil-dot.  Still trying to make up my mind, and appreciating the input I'm getting on this forum.  Thanks!

The V series uses very good glass, does not use the Micro-Trac adjustments and has the mil dot in the second focal plane calibrated for 24x.  The Varminter Plex might as well just be called a Plex because the dot is so tiny you can't even see it.  This reticle works well for just about any type of shooting.  The mil dot reticle was designed to range targets and is not easily used for hold overs.

The Weaver Tactical has a 1st plane mil dot and Micro-Trac adjustments by the way.
