Sorry, looks like QD gets covered on every page, but I donít see the answer.

I am looking for QD rings that will need to be switched in the field so no nuts.  This has to be something with a thumbscrew/lever.

This is for a tactical rig.

The QD needs to attach to MIL-STD 1913 Rail.

What is the best rings? For not loosing point of aim?  For being able to take a beating and not loose point of aim?  For being able to switch with frozen hands, or with sand imbedded in the actions.

How good are they when it comes to loosing point of aim?

Thanks

I am undecided.  First I have to know the limitations of the mounts.

If the scope mounts can put me back dead on, I can buy something new and more powerful which will probably mean 30mm.

If not, I am back to my current compromise semi-permanent mount.

So I am back to my original question,

If I remove a scope and put it back on, will I be at the same point of aim.

Your point of aim should be close. I have never used IOR rings, but they seem quality enough.

Badgers go back within a 1/2" when taken off and put back on.

Is there a reason you are not reccomending the ARMS mounts?  I think it would be easier to get good leverage with the longer levers.

What type of rifle?

An AR?

I assumed you had a bolt gun.

The ARMS mount may be great, but I haven't ever used it.

I am trying to standardize.  If I am altering my setups, I will alter several platforms.
