Wondering if the PRVI Partisan ammo is any good.  It's quite a bit cheaper than the Norma and Hornady (7.65MM).  Anyone had problems with it?

I've only ever shot one type, which was for a Swiss K-31. It was nearly as accurate as the precision-made Swiss surplus, although it had a different POI on the groups. Seems to be well-made.

I like it. It is cheap and reliable. Very dirty, but no worse than standard remington stuff in that regard.

I have used it in ARs quite a bit.  It functions well and is as accurate as any other cheap ammo I have shot.

I have shot in a 270, 7mm-08, and 308, all lead soft points.  Shot well, similar to Remington Core-Lokt and Federal Powerpoints.  I haven't used it to hunt with, but it is great for cheap range work.

I've shot probably a couple hundred rounds or more of .308 M80 type in my FAL. I've gotten some of my best groups from this rifle w/ this ammo.
I've read on-line that some think the brass is 'soft' but haven't gotten around to reloading any of the .308 I've saved.
I have reloaded and fired .223 range salvage PPU headstamp w/o issue.

Found more buried treasure.  A box of the original ammo...the cartridge is stamped 1928 at the base.  The original is on the left and I found some Hornady 7.65 ARG.  Hornady is advertising 2800 fps (150 grain bullet) and as I recall, the original was in the neighborhood of 24-2500 fps (175 grain bullet).  The rifle appears to be in excellent condition and I ran a brush through the bore and it too looks good.  Should I be concerned about the extra fps  and pressure of the Hornady? (or is this the result of better powder, lighter bullet,  resulting in more fps without upping the pressures...if that's even possible)  I want to go to the range tomorrow and couldn't wait to mail order some PRIVI.

A browning 7mm-08 that a friend has shoots very good groups with one lot of the Prvi we got, and average groups with the next lot he bought.  A Savage 7mm RM I have shoots the 174 grain load into very tight groups- usually at least a couple holes touching and sometimes all of them.  I just chronographed some this past weekend though, and it was only shooting 2600ish fps while midway says they're supposed to be 2770.  We haven't chronographed the 7mm-08 yet.

Both rifles we've shot it in have also gotten pretty dirty.  The case necks show powder residue on them too.  A few extra patches of Hoppe's is a decent trade off for the price though.  My friend bought something like 7 or 8 boxes to shoot for fun, and I bought 5 boxes for my rifle.  We like to set clay pigeons and water bottles on a dirt mound and shoot them off bipods from a few hundred yards out, and the Prvi works great for this.

Like the others, have used this ammo in .223 and .308. It went "bang".
Not match ammo, by any stretch.....

I've only used PP in 9.3x62 but was impressed enough with their casings that I bought 100 unprimed.  Didn't find it dirty at all.  Only odd thing I found was that their flash holes were smaller than our std size.  My Lyman flash hole deburr tool fixed that though.  Here's a pic of a target I shot the first time I had ever used the rifle or the ammo.  It was just before season and I was REALLY limited on rounds I could use for sighting in (wasn't set up to reload yet).

Use it for the rarer calibers seems to do alright in any Semi-Autos I have used it in...

Bolt actions seem to be able to shoot 1 MOA in 1/2 to 1/4MOA Bolt Actions...
