I need a minimum focus distance of 15 yds minimum and I like the looks of a Nikon PROSTAFF 5 3.5-14X40 Matte Mildot. Nikon glass, side wheel AO, 40mm objective.......

Can anyone who has access to one of these crank it down to 3.5 power and work the AO and tell me how close it will focus on an object?

Thanks

Thanks, Yes I have. No mill dot.

I'm too darned picky I guess. My Cake is Leupold or Nikon Glass in Mill Dot or LR Duplex reticles. Eating it is 10 to 15 yards minimum focus. A cherry on top would be a side wheel parallax adjuster.

I want Mill Dot and I do like the Leupold LR Duplex reticle on the Leupold VX-2 Ultralight 3-9x33mm.

The Leupold cost $20.00 more than a Prostaff 5 3.5-14x40 which is more scope. I'm told the Prostaff line is airgun rated.

I'll be able to answer this question myself tomorrow because I found a dealer in town that has one in BDC in stock so I'll be testing the focus minimum distance on it tomorrow.

I have a feeling the Leupold Ultralight EFR 3-9x33AO is in my future.
