I had a problem I wondered if was a fluke or common. I was sighting in my SS16X mounted on 700P .308 , first bore sighting, then 50 yrs, then 100 yards and had just moved to 200 yds. It had been so dead on at 100 yards that the holes were not even measurably off from dead center. At 200 yards  I noticed I could no longer feel or hear the clicks. I then noted that the crosshairs were not moving with the turns on the elevation knob. I was disappointed to say the least thinking I may have a lemon and packed up and went home. Fortunately, before taking the scope off the gun I noted that the screw on the side of the turret was not tightened all the way in. The scope did OK after tightening the screws. I will have to start over sighting it in but se la vie, I'm just so glad I didn't take it off the gun!. You may want to check these screws before sighting in the scope. Anybody else have this  problem?
