First post been lurking for sometime

I have a TC prohunter with a 204 ruger barrel and need some suggestions for a scope I want to use it mostly on yotes but may take it out for ground squirrels once or twice a year what would be a good power range to top out at 14 16 20 ?   dont want to go any higher than I have to cause somtimes those dogs are sneaky and get in close.  The other part of the dilema is finding a budget scope now this rifle wont see extreme situations like my bolt guns that I would take deer hunting would see that is why those have VX 3s but the more vx 3s I buy the fewer barrels I can have for my encore aka a budget swcope needed.

I have become fond of the weaver classic v series have a v16 on my 25.06 barrel but wonder what else is out there plus they dont give those away in the higher powers.  Mueller looks enticing barska bsa simmons nikon  feel free to mention what ever. preferably something available in various ranges so if I like it I can use it on future barrels.

I agree with pyro, also been hearing good things about the Swift scopes> I guess your problem is how much money do you want to spend?

In the higher powers swift looks like a good choice.
