The Browning is a Bushnell Elite brand labeled.

i would go with the leupold, because the browning hasnt been around a long time, and i dont knwo anyhting about it, but on the other hand if its a elite, it would make a nice scope, especially if it has rainguard coatings, but once again, i have no idea.

The http://www.riflescopes.com/departments/271/rifle_scopes/browning/sports_optics.htm - Browning is supposedly made in the same factory as the Elites and uses 4200 glass with out rainguard and put in modified 3200 bodies.  They are excellent scopes and I would buy one over a Leupold 2-7.

Chris, the Browning and the Weaver Grandslam are both listed at $250.00. If the Browning has Elite 4200 glass would it be a better buy than the Grand Slam. Which would you buy?

They are very close in optical quality.  I would go with the Weaver just because I would not want the Browning name on my Remington.  The Grand Slam also uses the patented http://www.opticstalk.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=83&KW=micro - Micro-Trac adjustments.
