I have narrowed down my choices to these two.
I will be putting one of these on an SKS.  Mainly it is just for fun, but it looks like these are two good ones.  And my wife says that we don't have a few hundred dollars to spend on this.
So I was going to get a red dot scope for $1-200 (maybe a bit more if I can get one at a great price)
ATN scopes for riflescopes have been criticized for quality control, but praised for their night vision, not sure about these.
I have heard good things about the Holosight

Which is better?
Which has fewer quality control issues?
Which is a better value?

Any other good ones in this price range?

This is a pretty easy choice:

ATN Ultra Sight is crap.  I have never used a night vision device from ATN, but their regular scopes and red dot/holo sights are absolute crap.

What are the issues with their red dot and holosights?

I have not been to their factory, so I am not sure what the production issues are, but the practical experience suggests that they are of the "crappy by design" variety:

Aweful glass, non-existent mechanical reliability, electronics that can't withstand recoil of something as wimpy as a 223, inconsistent brightness adjustments (on those rare occasions when it works at all), etc.
