My SS is mounted to a badger rail with Warne rings and when I rotate the gun 30 degrees right and then 30 degrees left I hear a click coming from the scope.

I dont have to do it sharply.. calm and it still does it.

Is that normal ?

Sorry.. I have a thing about HATING gun noises besides BOOM :)

Aside from that I am going to reserve judgement. My scope has 42 rounds on it now. So far so good. Needs more field time :)

But seriously whats the story with that sound? Is it normal ?

I have had 4 of the super snipers and not one made noise.  That said, be sure that your issue is the scope before you call for warranty.  Maybe try taking the scope out of the rings and then canting the rifle to see if the noise is still there.  If not, cant the scope when its off the rifle to see if the noise is there, and make sure it isn't the rings, scope interface.

If it is the scope making noise maybe a set screw or something made its way into your turrets.  Take the cap off both turets with those 3 little set screws and see if anything is in there.  Let us know what it was.

Good Luck

Any word on what the nose was coming from or what was causing it?

Send it back if it's not right and they will make it right.

Sounds like its coming from the windage knob. I will try remove it tomorrow and see if there is something loose under it.

I hope its something simple

Update. Its coming from inside the scope.

Any idea how I go about contacting them? I bought it used so I dont know if the warranty was transferable?
