I am thinking about getting one for long range shooting. what amount of MOA adjustment does the 6-24x have?

Pass=79MOA, adj:1 MOA/E .5 MOA/W. With XTR's the 3-12 is the one to get 90MOA, adj: .25 MOA/E, .25 MOA/W, very good variable scope for the money. With the fixed 10 you are better off saving the money and

getting the SuperSniper.

For $500 less than a Leupold Mark 4 its a hell of a scope.  Crystal clear glass well made - lifetime warranty.  If you want it in the olive drab finish I can send you a URL that will get you the 3-12X50 IR version for about $665.
