An awesome forum here. Need a good hunting scope. It will be for big game with shots up to 300 yds. Budget is $400+. Low light capabilities would be a plus.

I was wondering if anyone has looked thru the Burris FF2 LRS Ballistic Plex? How is the reticule in low light, bright sunlight, and is it worth the extra money over the FF2 Ballistic Plex.

Is there a better scope for the money I should consider? Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your reply cory. Was wondering how the red reticule looks under bright sunlight, does it change to black?

when the illuminator is not on, it will be just like any regular non illuminated reticle.

thanks cory. I believe I can see one at the next Houston gun show. I would have to see the diff, before I could buy.

You are going to have to wait until the second week in November for the next big gun show.  But, it will be worth the wait, the NRA Traveling Road Show will be attending and there will be many more tables than we normally have.

The Illuminated Ballistic Plex looks just like the regular non-illuminated version until it is turned on, at which time it simply turns red.  You can adjust the brightness level and it is very visible in low light or bright light.
