Just a guess, but the new Luepold Mark 2 Tacticals look like a VX II with target knobs????

Of course the "tactical" label makes the price higher than a VX II???

So here is my VX II Non-Tactical I picked up for a bit less than a comparable Mark 2.

Opinions???

Interesting muzzle break - reminds me of the old night firing device. I think the new shorter height knobs on the Mk 2 are a better choice than the tall knobs like on the PR series and VX II. The down side with tactical knobs is that they catch on brush which of course wants to make it's own adjustments. At least the target knobs have a cap to protect them. Does seem like a minor change but we could be headed in the right direction. Is the scope mount an armalite mount?

Actually, the mount is the new JP Enterprises and it is one of the nicest I have seen.

As a mall ninja, the VX II is good enough at this time.

That's a real Leupold, right? From what I've seen from your posts, you must be kidding. Mall Ninjas use fake Leupolds. If you are an MN, prove it and take the Mall Ninja Aptitude Test

I have had questions about my JP Enterprises scope mount.  Here is a pic.

I checked out their web site. It looks like you did well, Aeod. Good thing the mount opens up the ring spacing on that Leupold. With the strength of the scope/rings, you have your self a carry handle AR, after all.

Yeah...I always like to carry my weapons by the scope tube.

JP Ent gives military a 20% discount on parts.  Great price.

Did I mention that this scope only weighs about 16 ounces.
