What does everyone think about this scope. I looked through one yesterday a 15-45X60 camo with bak4 tripod and backpack, and thought it was impresive. It will be used in wyoming on an antilope and mule deer hunt. My cousin has a new one he will give me for 285.00 is there anything out there in the price range that is better??

The Spacemaster is one of the better entry level scopes out there. It was designed in the 1980s and it has proven itself time and again. I believe that $285 is a fair price.

That being said, an excellent option would be the Stokes Sandpiper 15-45x65mm, at about $325. It has a very well designed zoom eyepiece, it is well built, and it gives the expensive scopes a run for their money.
