I have two pre-war Hensoldt scopes that I would like to have refurbished if possible.  They are both on G&H side mounts and as a result of them being less then 1 inch diameter; the options are limited as to putting another scope on these mounts.  One of the G&H side mounts on a 1930 G&H sporterized Mauser is of the older variety, i.e. not of the more modern split ring type; so I think I am sunk on that one.  The other, on a 1908 Mannlicher Schoenauer carbine, is a split ring type of G&H side mount so it would lend itself to removing the scope for refurbishment.  Does anyone know of a company that specializes in refurbishing these old scopes? Thanks for any help.

Parsons scope service in Ross Ohio works on old scopes you may want to call them at 1-513-867-0820 or check their web site. They have one of my scope now and said repair times are about 6 mo out at this time.

Hope this helps
