Ok I think I am going to go with a low price scope for now. I have read so much on here about the bushnell 4200 and I think it would be crazy not to buy one and try it.

Now here the thing I want the firefly and the only big one they have in the 4200 is a 2.5X10X50, I was looking for alittle more then that. In the 3200 they have a 5X15X40 firefly.

So what I need to know how much light, clarity will I be giving up for the 3200?

the only reason I feel I need the 5X15 is for the long view (seeing out to 300 to 350 yards), But I need the fire fly. my last scope was lighted and I just love being able to turn it on the last 10 mins. or so. It just brings the cross hairs alive to me.

I know alot of you talk highly of the 4200, But I havent heard much on the4 3200.

Also thanks E1 for all your help on finding the info to help me pick the right scope

There is a pretty noticable difference between the 4200 Elite and the 3200 Elite.  The 4200 pulls in quite a bit more light.  The 3200 that I have looked through seemed a bit "darker" to me.  I think the 3200 is a very good scope but in it's price range I like the Nikon Buckmaster and the Burris Fullfield better.
