I do a lot of shooting out to 600 yards with a friend. I also like to watch allot of the wild life in the field behind the house . I have a pentax 80mm ed spotter. it's excellent, but just using one eye gets tiring. so I have been considering some 20x binos. is the glass in the pentax good enough for watching bullet trace and viewing game, or am I better of just keeping my $200?

I have not seen those, but 20X binos that cost $200 I can't imagine they would be very good.  IMO, with cheaper bino's the lower the mag the better.  7x and 8x cheaper bino's seem ok, but I don't like the image on higher power bino's in that price range.

You will get various opinions all the time regardless of magnification, brand, price, etc.

We are all different. You need to try one for yourself.

SWFA has an excellent return policy if you decide that it is not what you like.

Two eyes are definitely better than one, when it comes to viewing at 20x.

However, you will also need a tripod adapter, as well as a monopod or tripod, for viewing at 20x.

I've been using 20x & 30x binoculars for many years and I always find them enjoyable.

Here's a very good all metal binocular tripod adapter.

I prefer Porro prism binoculars especially those made in Japan. (i.e. Minox BD 10x44 BP) 8>)
