I have a pair of eleitz wetzlar 7 x 50 binoculars numbered 477975 with original case. They appear to be in good condition. View is very clear. What might these be worth?

It all depends upon their overall optical & mechanical condition.

Go over to eBay and type the description into the search engine, you should get some idea of value.

I prefer Porro prism binoculars especially those made in Japan. (i.e. Minox BD 10x44 BP) 8>)

look through them backwards....is there any haze/dirt/staining on any glass....is the leatherette covering in good shape??....condition of paint on the metal???....are the focus adjustments smooth... if everything checks out....200-250 or so....maybe a little more to the right person.....
