Again I'm new to this game to bear with me - but I am beginning to appreciate a good pair of nocs.

I have acquired a really solid looking pair of BISLEY DELUXE Binoculars 8X 135m/1000m.

Best described as a nice large pocket size, and very solidly built. Nothing much on Google about these but in searching for them I found an identical pair with a different name on eBay:

They look identical but are called MAMIYA? So, interesting because mine are labelled BISLEY.

Anyone know much about these?

You can see the binoculars in the thumbnail of that first post - they look identical - again Mamiya and not Bisley ??

I have never heard of them, but the first question would be what is the size of the objective. Three times you said  "8x135-1000-8x-135m-1000m." This is a bit confusing since 135m-1000m would seem to be speaking to the field of view at 1000m. For the American market, this is usually in degrees or feet at 1000 Yds.

OR if 135 is supposed to be MILLIMETERS and not METERS, the objective would be 5.3 inches in diameter (which I doubt). Either way, it would seem that someone in the chain is nomenclature challenged.

Keep in mind that for $500 and two empty suitcases, you can return from China with your own brand of binoculars. These may be up and comers, but based on more than 40 years on binoism, I would say you should be wary and stick with known brands.
