I'm curious if some of the members who have owned or used this particular scope could speak to its qualities compared to something like the bushnell 6500 series, or the Swaro z3 series? I have an offer from someone to sell me the scope as they are interested in purchasing something with more magnification and I am wondering how this model compares to some of the other scopes I own (seller isn't locale so I can't compare side by side). Also, any thoughts on what a fair offer for the scope would be, I know they are discontinued but it seems it was quite a nice (and pricey) scope when it was being retailed. The scope in question is in excellent condition all around.

Thoughts are appreciated! Thanks!

I have the Diavari in a 2.5 -10x50 and it is a very nice scope. It is going to be very similar to your scope in question. I just ordered a Victory HT 1.5-6x42 from the Sample list which is step up optically from the Diavari. The Diavari will be a step up from the Bushnell and will compare more closely to the Swarovski Z3. Excellent glass in the Swarovski. I did have one of these in a 4-12x50. In my thinking you might have a slight advantage in low light with the Zeiss as you will have a first focal plane reticle that when dialed from 3-6 will be very bold and visible. You might want to look on the Sample List at what I purchased. These have an illuminated reticle and the glass is very good. And the price is right. 2 left as of this morning.
