Is this the ultimate scope I've read so much about? Are there any models of hensoldt that are older or less impressive? Found the 4-16x56 FFP and the 6-24x56 SFP for mid $2k and wondering is this too good to be true.....thats cheaper than most of the scopes ive been looking at.

Which would you choose between these two models? FFP is NH1 reticle and SFP is mildot....both illuminated.   Got myself ina hurry to buy before theyre gone. Should i be? Is this as good a deal as it sounds?

Kickboxer, Kickboxer this is BeltFed, meet ballshrinker on channel one. He needs intel on Hensoldt ASAP before he advances, over.

Who is the seller?  Appears that some people have had some issues with the Cassidian made versions.  I've not had hands on on anything not made by Zeiss.

Read this: -

There is a thread on OT discussing  the 6-24x72 and problems encountered with the newer versions.  My 6-24x72 is the best scope I've ever looked through.  It is depressing to think that Hensoldt may have let quality slide.  I cannot say for sure… no experience with the non-Zeiss Hensoldts.  I've never been a fan of anything made by Airbus…

I would suggest looking at Tangent Theta.  Though the adjustment range on the 3-15s is less than I would like, everything else about it is just short of amazing.
If you can find a pre-2012 Hensoldt, I would say give it a try.  Anything after 2012 would require extensive evaluation before I would purchase it.

Opinion,untempered by fact,is ignorance.

I sent you a PM so I don't break any rule about specifying other websites.  I had no idea they changed ownership.  Maybe this is too good to be true.  They are quite a bit cheaper than TT's...and S&Bs..and the other top 4 I've been considering.  kind of what I was wondering.  is this THE Hensoldt I've read about or some other version.

I've been out of the Hensoldt buying game for a bit. If any are the older scopes, they are great. I don't know what happens to warranty on older scopes now, so...there is that.
