I just found (cleaning out some of my dad's old stuff) an old Denver Redfield 3-9X Accu Range scope.   Weird thing is the objective is threaded onto the main body tube.   I've never seen one like this, and I have quite a few old Redfields.   Usually the main tube and objective are all one piece of material.   Does anyone know when/why they made them like this?    Thanks.     Dave
