I have a Nikon Prostaff 4X12X40 with BDC reticle that I need new turret caps for. I went to the range and left them there. I know not the brightest thing I have ever done. I literally just need the plastic caps. Anybody have any idea where to get them. Nikon has been less than helpful.

Just go drop the scope on concrete and send it in.  They'll send you a new scope complete with caps.  Or you can just wait for it to break because it will since it is a Nikon.

I have been playing with a couple of Nikon scopes for close to a year: Monarch and Prostaff5 and had exactly zero issues So far.

As far as the caps go, that is worth a call to Nikon.

To clarify: I doubt anyone other than Nikon can tell you.

Sorry, but if it's broken, Nikon sends you a new one.  I know, the one Nikon I had broke, they sent me a new one.  Two weeks later it broke.  They sent me another one, I sold it and put a Ziess on my Sako 75 instead, it hasn't broken in the 8 years on the gun.

Must have just had some bad Nikons.  Not a scratch on either one or the rifle.
