So Milwaukee along with several other power tool vendors are now selling heated jackets.

I picked up two of them for Christmas, one for me and one for my wife from Homedepot.com

I got this one for my wife, http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-X-Large-M12-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-Special-Edition-Women-s-Heated-Jacket-2339-XL/204402947 - http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-X-Large-M12-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-Special-Edition-Women-s-Heated-Jacket-2339-XL/204402947

and this one for me http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-Large-M12-Cordless-Lithium-Ion-Black-Heated-Jacket-Jacket-Only-2394-L/205339970 - http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-Large-M12-Cordless-Lithium-Ion-Black-Heated-Jacket-Jacket-Only-2394-L/205339970

Gotta say they are very nice jackets.  The shell is very wind resistant and appears from the little testing I did to be water resistant.  The heat elements are awesome, they really heat up and keep your core warm which makes a huge difference in how you feel in cold weather.

After I have used it for a few days now, I have decided that this particular jacket I got will not be a great layering jacket as the heated jacket needs to be the inside jacket and they do not breath that well, so I feel like if used as the inside jacket for layering, it could lead to sweat issues.

So I had to stop at the home depot today for something else and they had the hoodie style in the store.  So i picked up one of these for $100.  http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-X-Large-M12-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-Gray-Heated-Hoodie-Kit-2373-XL/204404720 - http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-X-Large-M12-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-Gray-Heated-Hoodie-Kit-2373-XL/204404720
This should work awesome for a layering jacket when I am out four wheeling or other activities in the cold weather.

They use the same batteries as the m12 tools, which I had 5 or 6 of those tools so I have a ton of batteries for them.

The jackets themselves are very high quality, One of the nicest jackets I have ever owned.  And the m12 tools are the bomb IMO.  I also own some of the m18 tools and 90% of the time the m12 will do what I need.

Anyway so if you are considering a heated jacket, the Milwaukees are very nice.  They come in Camo as well, so would be great for hunting.
