Ted, we just finished Wally with what are called salt potatoes here but rather than  cook them with a pile of salt we just boil them and butter and salt them to our likin' and then had watermelon to cleanse the pallate, which I prefer to salt also. I know salt isn't good for me but I also put salt on canteloupe. It's my only vice well maybe!

The potatoes we have are called " creamers " they are real small new potatoes and couldn't possibly taste any better than they do.

I feel in love with Walleye after a business trip to Ashtabula, OH just east of Cleveland of lake Erie.

I would drive in from balto. Do a days worth of work (A major Preventive maintenance)  then go out on a headboat the next day for walleye....  (sold the idea to my boss that with a $10K PM contract riding in the balance it was best for me to remain in the immediate area the day after the PM....) Bucky

I was able to pull that "fishing trip" off for 5 years before the account retired the equipment....
The best part was the PM always occurrec the week before the fishing / tourist season offically started and everything was still discounted.  It also happned to be the starting period of the walleye spawn in the flats near port Clinton... Yippee

Don't know how i got that lucky as my luck usually runs the OTHER way!!!Loco
