Greetings,

I installed a Bushnell Banner 3-9x 50mm scope on an older long action 30.06 . It is on the correct rail and rings.  We took it out for a test run and after about 10 rounds I noticed the rear element on the scope has become dislodged.   Before i ship this back to Bushnell for service I was hoping to be able to re-seat it myself and take it out again tomorrow.

Has anyone done this before and is there anything special i need to know on how to remove the rear element and re-seat it ?

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Joel

If the elements are loose then the purge has been lost. If you tamper with the scope the warranty will be void. Send it back.

Thanks
