Hey folks!

I just got me a Weihrauch HW 45 air pistol (Beeman P1) and got stuck with some scope issues.

Because this is a spring-piston model, I'm worried about the mecanical impact the HW 45 could have on a handgun scope.

Some say, the impact of a spring-piston causes such heavy vibration in such a short moment of time, that it could kill every scope.

So I started looking for a tough scope, which at least could handle a lot of recoil.

Now I need some help in finding the right one for my needs.

As far as I know, a scope with 2x magnification should do the job.
I mostly do some plinking at a distance of about 75 feet.

I read a lot about Burris scopes, and that they could handle heavy recoil and that they seem to be good quality made scopes.

Weaver also promises to handle a lot of recoil and the scopes seem also well manufactured.

I don't got the money for a leupold, so please don't try to convince me to buy one of them!
(Moneylessness is the source of many problems, I guess.)

So the following models (all on optics-planet) came to my attention:

Burris 2x20

Weaver 2x28

As you can see, there's a price difference between the two.
But they both come with lifetime warranty.

The Burris costs around 230 $ and the weaver costs 70 $ less.

You must know, that the weaver costs about 350 Euros on the German website of I was thinking, that maybe it's not so bad at all.

I spent hours in research and I reached my limit.

I'm begging for advice which one to choose and hope, some of you enjoy their Beeman as well as I do!
