Just got in a X-bolt Stalker. I will put either a S&B Klassik or Zeiss Duralyt on it. Both in 3-12x50.

The S&B #4 has pretty thick posts and the Duralyt got thin ones.

What would you prefer for all kinds of hunting? Mostly roebucks.

Either is fine (to me), what's your preference.

I don't like my reticle rediculously bold but that's just me.

I prefer thin inner crosshairs and relatively thick outer posts. This gives me the best of both worlds: thin crosshairs provide precision aiming and thick outer posts provide good visibility in poor light.

The S&B has a first focal plane reticle (reticle magnifies with the target view as power is increased), and the Duralyt has a second focal plane (non-magnifying) reticle. So, although the S&B has a thicker reticle at high magnification, it has a thinner reticle than Duralyt at low magnification.

If you intend to hunt in low light or at night (I'm assuming night hunting is legal where you live), thicker posts are a huge benefit to visibility.
