I want a better view too - palm trees would be nice.

A couple of comments:  

- I have a palm tree in my backyard that I am considering getting rid of.  Wes, if you want it, you can come over and haul it away.  It is about three foot in diameter, so get a big truck.

- That BVD article is from 5-6 years ago, so some of the binocular landscape has changed a bit since then.
